COSMO - Live at Slim's in San Francisco, CACOSMO - a true renaissance man - was born and raised in the parish of Westmoreland, a stone's throw from the famous Negril Beach in Jamaica. COSMO was a child prodigy - winning a number of singing competitions throughout the island. Although he was recognized at an early age as having the gift to becoming a world class entertainer, COSMO migrated to the United States and dedicated his time and efforts to his academic pursuits. He holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering and computer science from Columbia University and a medical degree from the State University of New York. COSMO is presently a professor of medicine at the University of California, a renowned biomedical researcher, a scientist and teacher whose discoveries have changed the clinical practice of medicine throughout the world.

COSMO, has now returned to his "roots" with a most captivating and electrifying performance on his debut solo CD entitled FIRE THIS TIME. Working with legendary reggae musicians - including George 'Fully' Fullwood on bass - Santa Davis on drums - Tony Chin on guitar, the singer/songwriter has written 10 of the 11 tracks on the CD and has produced the album as well. With his clear, sexy, soulful voice and his astonishing writing ability, COSMO has produced an outstanding reggae album which will appeal to all different kinds of music lovers.
