The Mad
Professor's acute sense of the divine and delicate has helped him make
considerable contributions in England to the lover's rock genre. But he has not
stopped there. He has produced numerous conscious roots reggae albums with DJs
like Macka B, has collaborated with other pioneers such as Jah Shaka and Lee
Perry, experimented with some heavy duty jungle projects, and was instrumental
to the success of Massive Attack. This is the true innovator we are talking
about. Everyday, the Mad Professor gets calls from all over the world from
groups of all genres (the Beastie Boys for one) to help produce their work.
