Marley Gras 2006 Cancelled
Due to scheduling difficulties and
conflicts, ReggaeMovement
has decided that Marley Gras 2005 will not be taking place this
year.
"As i saw it, the only
option we had after a series of setbacks was to offer a regular
show. In spirit of Bob Marley, he deserves nothing but the
best, and I'd rather not do a show one year than to do something
substandard." Larry Leiber said, "but we'll be back next year,
and the year beyond, you can count on that."
There will, however, be
plenty of shows to celebrate this joyous weekend in the Reggae
World. Check out The
Colorado Bob Marley Birthday page to find out where to
celebrate.

Dear Reggaemovement
and Mr. Larry Leiber, individually:
Many thanks and praise
to you sir for your contributions in the overall success of bringing one
of the best Marley birthday celebrations I have ever attended to our
most humble city. Peace and tranquility was alive and brought forth in
each and every individual who attended last night's show.
You have again outdone
yourself in bringing Reggae music to Denver. The selfless efforts you
have displayed and will continue to display allows us all to
experience every genre of Reggae music and I must give credit to you for
the accessible and informative website that brings so many together. I
am confident that without Reggaemovement, the many musicians and
runnings we enjoy in this city would lose precious exposure and events
like last night would not be so widely known and enjoyed.
Hats off to you Mr.
Leiber and Reggae lovers unite to give a much deserved Respect! to your
unselfish contributions yet again.
