Pictures of the Show -- Review of the Show --  Interview

Reggae Movement - Joseph, we're here on July 4th, where we celebrate the American Nation's Independence, as you are aware I'm sure. This year's July 4th takes on an added emphasis, and reminds us ever more of the recent tragedies of 9-11 which has forced people to cope with mental and emotional challenges like never before. How would the Rastafari movement approach and get through such trials and tribulations?

Yah see? there is a universal key...that opens any and every door. And a nation that Prays together Stays together.

Reggae Movement - With all the negative energy in the world, and many challenges for everyone, what would your message be to the youths as to provide encouragement for the future?

There ain't no stronger solution than education......well...there is a way...it's hard, but it is not impossible. That what about it. And the hard way, the possible way, educate yourself in a multiway to make sure that you are educated to everything of a global relationship and peace with all nations.

Reggae Movement - Being a grass roots society and religion finding it's roots in Jamaica, and worshiping a Deity from Africa, Rastafari today finds a wider and more diverse following embracing the foundation and beliefs upon which the Religion has been founded. What is the Rasta view on this growth of the Rastafari Movement towards a more diverse group of people?

It's not even about religion, ya know. It is the hope of a nation. See...a person's freedom and liberty is just as equal as a religion. and without freedom or liberty it makes no sense to start religion....and without respect to each other, ya ain't gonna get no freedom or liberty...so, it's just a way of discipline to learn, to respect each other, because each man is equal.

Reggae Movement - Joseph, I'm always curious and like to find the answer to this question everytime I interview someone. What CD is in your player right now?

For the last few years, I've only been a visitor to a house, and i live on my guitar.

Ujama News - What would be your message to the Presidents of Africa? you know, the people running the countries in Africa and the current situation in africa

it is not easy sometimes..the fact is that as for Africa, as for Africa, i have only one statement to make to all the presidents of the African Continent....Sirs, please remember, there is enough to satisfy every man's need, but never enough to satisfy one man's greed. Be careful what you do with the people...cause the Father say..if you hurt one of these, I will wound the head of thee and fill the cities with dead people
