On July 29th, Reggaemovement is bringing the Easy Star All Stars to Cervantes’ Masterpiece Theater as part of my Denver Reggae Series. This time through, they are playing Dub Side of the Moon (their dub version of Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon) in its entirety , along with other selections.
Best known for their reggae/dub interpretations of the Beatles, Radiohead and Pink Floyd, The Easy Star All Stars bring an intelligent, artful presentation in their live stage show.
Along with Easy Star, the Denver Dub Collective will open with their reggae interpretation of Prince’s Purple Rain. YEGDJ brings his electronic background to fuse with Reggae to truly create a night of pure reggae bliss.
I recommend taking off the morning of Friday, July 30th if you truly want to enjoy the show.
